Advisory: Randolph, Canton, Milton, Dedham, Westwood 

Overnight lane closures from Monday, August 3, through the fall of 2026, from 9:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

RANDOLPH/CANTON/MILTON/DEDHAM/WESTWOOD – The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) is announcing that overnight lane closures will resume along I-93 and I-95 northbound and southbound, between exit 4 in Randolph and exit 26 in Westwood. The closures will begin on Monday, August 3, and will continue weekly, on a Sunday night through Friday morning schedule, between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m. through the fall of 2026.

These lane closures are necessary to allow crews to safely complete roadway resurfacing and bridge preservation work on seven bridges. Work includes full width pavement fine milling and resurfacing on the I-93 and I-95 main line, ramps, and truck pull-off areas. Additional operations include guardrail replacement, drainage structure cleaning, adjustments and reconstruction, and the replacement of the frames and grates.

Appropriate signage, law enforcement details, and advance message boards will be in place to guide drivers through the work area.

Drivers should expect delays, reduce speed, and use caution while traveling through the work zone.
