The Town of Dedham is pleased to introduce Dedham Texts, a new general news text message system designed to make it easier for residents to stay informed. Managed by the Town Manager’s Office, the service delivers updates about public meetings, community events, major projects and studies, and opportunities to get involved.

How to Sign Up

Residents and those interested can subscribe by texting “Dedham” to 1‑866‑984‑9846. Once enrolled, subscribers will begin receiving short updates directly on their mobile devices. To start, the Town will send only a couple messages each week.

Participation is entirely optional, and subscribers may opt out at any time. Email notifications will continue for anyone who prefers receiving updates that way.
