Save the Date! The Dedham Conservation Commission will be hosting its third annual Dedham Biodiversity Day on Saturday, August 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Dolan Center, with a rain date of Sunday, August 16. Biodiversity Day is a celebration of our local biodiversity here in Dedham, where residents can learn, explore, and engage with nature along the banks of the Charles River. This event is free and is designed for people of all ages.

This year we have an exciting lineup of programming and activities, including a Birds of Prey exhibit from MassAudubon, Fabulous Fungi with Jef Taylor, a guided birding walk with Nature Man Mike, a guided kayak of the Charles River with LL Bean, a beekeeping talk with Conservation Commission Chair Erik DeAvila, and more!

 Stay tuned for the official schedule of events that will be posted to the Town website and on social media (@DedhamThrives) in the coming weeks. We will also be circulating a sign-up link if you are interested in volunteering to help out with the event.

 Light snacks and water bottle filling stations (courtesy of the MWRA Quench Buggy) will be provided, however, we recommend bringing a bagged lunch if you plan on staying for the entire day.
