The Dedham-Westwood Water District will host a virtual public pre-construction meeting via Zoom on Thursday, July 16, at 6:30 p.m., in preparation for water main replacement on Riverside Drive in Dedham.

The work limits for the project include Riverside Drive between Vine Rock Street and Bridge Street, and a portion of Bridge Street between VFW Parkway/Rt.1 and Needham Street. Work consists of replacing the existing underground water main and upgrading fire hydrants, valves, and associated appurtenances. 

The majority of work will be conducted during the daytime, Monday through Friday, tentatively from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Some night work will also be conducted as well. The entire project is expected to be completed by the end of November.
