Our annual Household Hazardous Waste Event will be held on Saturday July 25, from 9AM to Noon at our DPW Facility, located at 55 River Street, Dedham MA 02026.

New Pilot Partnership!
Starting this year, the Town of Dedham and the Town of Milton have entered a pilot partnership to 'share' their household hazardous waste events. This means some Dedham residents can attend Milton's HHW event, and some Milton residents can attend Dedham's HHW event.
Milton's Household Hazardous Waste Day will be held on Saturday, September 26, from 9AM to Noon at Milton DPW, located at 629 Randolph Ave, Milton, MA.
Dedham residents must register to attend the HHW event Milton. Please follow these two steps to register:
- Contact your Dedham's coordinator Andrea Brown to receive a Visitor Authorization Form. This will act as your ticket into the event.
- Bring your Visitor Authorization Form as your ticket on the day of the outside event.
Remember, residents can dispose of household hazardous items (as accepted) as you would at your Town's event. There is no charge for residents to participate.
What about Electronics?
The Town of Dedham is accepting electronics for disposal at this event ($25 fee per item). Payable by check to the Town of Dedham.
Important notes:
- Each Town has the right to refuse unidentified materials and large amounts of hazardous waste.
- Each Town has the right to cap the amount of outside residents attending their event.
